Description
I have this stock certificate for The Willbray GoldMining Company which my grandfather bought in 1896. There is an embossment (seal) naming the Willbray GoldMining Company and shows the same date as when issued (1896). I've tried to shoot from different angles but I'm not so good with the iPhone camera. If you are interested and would want me to try to shoot from a specific angle or possibly closer let me know. This certificate is not torn or suffering much from age (it was tucked away with some old papers). The certificate has been folded a few times. The yellow tint of the certificate shown in the photos is the actual color of the document. The certificate reads: The Willbray GoldMining Company. The document certifies that--my grandfather's name--is entitled to one hundred (100) shares of the Willbray GoldMining Company, transferable only in the books of the Company, in person or by Attorney on surrender of this Certificate. Below that are the witnesses, the signatures of the President and Secretary with the date of 2nd day of March 1896.
