Moonstone (Anorthoclase) with Zircons, Marathon Co, Wisconsin, 271 grams. Video

Description

This is a  rough untreated specimen of  Anorthoclase feldspar Moonstone  from the Stettin Pluton in Marathon Co, WI. Shown wet in some photos and dry in others, shown dry in the video.
Several well formed (but small) Zircon crystals as well as some nice Arfvesdonite crystals. Will need magnification to appreciate. I can put yellow arrow pointing stickers on the specimen if you like before shipping to point to these minerals.
Shows excellent schiller on several faces, which is greatly enhanced when wet, oiled or polished.
This type of Moonstone is only found in Marathon County Wisconsin. These take an excellent polishing, I have done face polishes on several of mine and they turned out amazing, and if you have the skills you can create some really nice cabs.
