Magnet easily sticks to this rock signifying a high concentration of Magnetite in the rock,  Would make great for jewelry making and or carving or even gold plating.  Cabochons a plenty with this big chunk.
Not semi transparent or translucent, very heavy mineralized and tons of magnetite packed into this rock, enough to attract a magnet with force.  I put a neodymium magnet to test it and wow, this rock practically acts like a lode stone.
As far as I know I believe this Jade comes from Victorville California Deposit, as I got this off lifelong commercial collector gem mineral seller.  That is what I've been told.
