High Polish Chrome Lighter The High Polish Chrome lighter, one of Zippo's most popular finishes, has been in the product line since 1938. All surfaces of the lighter (front, reverse, top, bottom and sides) are finished with a lustrous, mirror-like finish. Brushed Chrome Lighter The original Brushed Chrome lighter was created in 1933 and has remained Zippo's most popular lighter. The front and reverse of this lighter are finished with a horizontal brushing technique that adds interest and dimension to the chrome finish. Sides of the brushed chrome lighter are buffed to a high polished finish for contrast. Street Chrome Lighter Introduced in 2001, the Street Chrome has a random 'distressed' look, giving the lighter a pocket-worn look even when new. The entire surface of the lighter, including the sides and bottom, has been tumbled in a special media to replicate the random scuffs and scratches of a beloved, well-used lighter. Satin Chrome Lighter Introduced in 2000, the Satin Chrome lighter was offered as a silky smooth alternative to the standard brushed finish and high polish chrome lighters. This lighter has a smooth finish on all sides and shimmers with the silky texture of luxurious satin. High Polish Chrome Brushed Chrome Street Chrome Satin Chrome Diagonal Weave Lighter The Diagonal Weave lighter was added to the line of lighters featuring the directional brushing technique in 2013, joining the Herringbone Sweep and Chrome Arch lighters. The directional brushing technique adds a distinctive vertical cross-hatched pattern to the front and back of the lighter. While the sides of the standard brushed chrome lighter have a high polish finish, the sides of this model feature a tumbled/street chrome finish. Chrome Arch Lighter The Chrome Arch lighter was introduced in 2009, bringing a new dimension to Zippo's standard brushed chrome lighter. A directional brushing technique is used to create a sweeping curved pattern to the front and back of the lighter. While the sides of the standard brushed chrome lighter have a high polish finish, the sides of this model feature a tumbled/street chrome finish. Herringbone Sweep Lighter The Herringbone Sweep lighter was introduced in 2009 as an alternative twist on the standard Brushed Chrome. A directional brushing technique adds a distinctive angled pattern to the front and back of the lighter. While the sides of the standard brushed chrome lighter have a high polish finish, the sides of this model feature a tumbled/street chrome finish. Linen Weave Lighter The Linen Weave lighter was added to the line of lighters featuring the directional brushing technique in 2013, joining the Herringbone Sweep and Chrome Arch. A directional brushing technique adds a distinctive cross-hatched pattern to the front and back of the lighter. The sides of the Linen Weave lighter feature a tumbled finish. Diagonal Weave Chrome Arch Herringbone Sweep Linen Weave Engine Turned Lighter One of the oldest decorative patterns, the Engine Turned lighter has been available since the late 1930's. Vertical lines are engraved on the front and the reverse of this high polish chrome lighter. The front of this lighter features and engraving panel which can be engraved with up to three initials. Sides of the Engine Turned lighter are high polished. Antique Silver Plate Lighter Originally introduced in 1995, the Antique series of lighters were available in regular and vintage (flat top, flat bottom) models in Antique Silver, Antique Brass, and Antique Copper. The regular Antique Silver and Antique Brass are still in the product line today. The Antique finish lighters have a unique finish to give it a used, nostalgic, and broken antique look. The flat finish offers a 'weathered' look that is created by staining the pieces after they are tumbled. Each Antique finish lighter is identified by a peel-off label and protected by a long-wearing coat to preserve the antique look.
