    Vehicle Details
    Bought this car from a Subaru dealer in 2004. It has served our family well. The engine, transmission and all wheel drive still function beautifully, but rust is starting to take it's toll. There is repairable rusted areas over both rear fenders as shown in photos. Car is inspected through end of July, but my mechanic won't pass it again due to 4 reasons: 1. He reports about a 4" rust hole in the unibody where the rear suspension mounts (will need new metal welded in). 2. Intermediate exhaust rusted and needs replaced. 3. The exhaust heat shield is falling down and needs to be re-secured. 4. The rear brakes are wearing unevenly (about 30/70) and left brake is dragging. Car still has a lot of life in it for someone who welds and can do brake work. I cannot do either. Or would be a great parts car for someone doing a restoration, tons of great parts!
